Hey, I’m Andrea!

I’d love to introduce myself!
I started my photography journey back in early 2017 when I took my mom’s old camera to take pictures of my friends and family, just for fun. After a few months of practicing and learning, I started taking on clients here and there, doing engagement photos for friends, family photos for neighbors, branched out into the ‘friends-of-friends’ realm, and eventually I did my first wedding in January of 2021. That means over 3 years of weddings, holy cow, time flies :’)
I fell in love with the creative and personal aspect of photographing these special moments in people’s lives, and that is something I continue to love more and more every day.
I have learned SO much over the course of my photography career, but one thing that has always stood out to me is how important the details are. These elements of your story are a huge priority for me, and a main focus of my photography style. Small moments, candid interactions, genuine emotions and reactions. I want you to show up as you are! I want your biggest smiles, your loudest laughter, your passion, tears, all of it. If these sound like the type of photos you want to put in your albums, hang in your home, and look back on decades down the road, I think we could be a great fit :)
OK, now the non-photography stuff!
I am based in Grand Rapids, MI and originally from Grand Rapids! I’ve lived here my whole life outside of attending college at The University of Toledo, where I also played volleyball. I’ve been an athlete my whole life, so being able to continue playing a sport in college was a tremendous joy and such a blessing! I got my degree in Marketing, which I currently use in my full-time roll as an Associate Brand Manager. Photography is my part-time gig… for now!
When I’m not taking photos, editing photos, talking with clients, etc. etc., You can find me running (currently training for a marathon!), watching The Office (I’ve probably watched it all the way through 20+ times, and I have no shame about that), spending time with my boyfriend and our families, meeting up with friends, trying new restaurants, playing rec volleyball, and traveling.
Whether you’re an Office fan or not, I would LOVE to connect with you, get to know you, and talk about your vision for your photos!

(ok, actually, if you don’t like The Office, I’d like to talk to you for different reasons because WHO DOESN'T LIKE THE OFFICE?! lol)
